Description: Dark blue on gold underprinting with floral border. Back violet on gold underprinting with denomination in circles and agricultural tools behind. This note was issued by the Soviet (council) of the Urals Region in the city of Yekaterinburg. The Standard Catalog notes that this issuer was the same Communist entity that ordered the execution of Tsar Nicholas II and his family in the former house of Nikolai Ipatiev. The true reason for the execution was probably because the Communists knew that the White Army was closing in on Yekaterinburg and they did not want the prospect of the royal family being freed. 110mm x 70mm.
