Description: Black on orange and yellow underprinting, central vignette of the Banco Minero building in Chihuahua, helmeted female bust at bottom left. Reverse brown, with cattle and sheep on road. Green and red revenue and treasury stamps on reverse. This bank was the most powerful of all the Bancos in northern Mexico, and forced the state banks to close by buying up the other bank’s notes.
