Description: Blue on white paper, central vignette of a pagoda on a hill overlooking lake, with the denomination in English & Chinese on each side. Reverse blue on white paper, Viking ship at center, bank name above with denomination on left and right. According to John Sandrock, this bank was chartered in July of 1921 and began operations in January of 1922. The bank was funded by Chinese business people who wished to do trade with Scandinavia and also Norwegian and Danish sources. The bank closed for business in 1928.
